How To Participate

Junior Kindergarten children who are enrolled in the following publicly funded School Districts are able to participate in the Eye See...Eye Learn program for the 2011/2012 school year:
 

  • Dufferin-Peel Region
  • Halton Region
  • Hamilton-Wentworth Region
  • Windsor Essex Region


Simply click the following link to our “Find a Participating Optometrist” and contact a local optometrist to have your child’s Eye See…Eye Learn exam by June 30, 2012. Bring your child’s health card with you on the day of the exam. It’s that easy!

Participating children who require a pair of glasses with receive one pair free of charge courtesy of our participating industry sponsors Jungle Eyewear and HOYA Vision Care. The glasses are current styles and are high quality. They are covered under a full 2 year or 2 time manufacturer’s warranty against defect.

This program is made possible with funding assistance from the Government of Ontario.

Not in an Eye See…Eye Learn Region?

Annual eye exams by optometrists are covered for all children up to an including age 19. Click on our Find an Optometrist Locator to contact one closest to you and book your child’s eye exam today. Free glasses are not available outside the Eye See…Eye Learn regions.

The Eye See…Eye Learn program will be expanding across Ontario over the next five years. Visit our website often to see when the program is coming to your region.
